a milestone

marley got her first tooth today! only three months old and she has a tooth! it's on the bottom in the front, and it's already thru the gums...i guess that explains the chewing and the drool. =) i survived my root canals. had a very good doctor and it wasn't as bad as i was thinking. dentistry has come a long way. even the drilling noise wasn't as bad.

wedding and yard work

here are some photos from the wedding yesterday. it was a beautiful ceremony and the bride and groom looked increadibly happy. we couldn't stay long, it was all a bit much for marley...and a couple of marley doing yard work from the other day...

three months old!

i can't believe our little baby girl is three months old already. yesterday actually. we celebrated by having my mom move to town and resa coming with her for a visit. the weather is finally beautiful, so we have been out on the farm enjoying it. my mom brought ringo with her, and he seems to be settling in quite nicely. marley is still talking up a storm, sucking very loudly on her fingers and nopw trying to sit up. she prefers to face the world when you hold her, and wants to practice standing as often as possible. she has also developed her "fight the man, power to the people" fist pump. i'll try to catch it on film...

unrelated

so, i weighed omar, the big black cat we have. he weighs 22 pounds! can you believe it?! that's twice what marley weighs, to give some persepective...
on another note, grandma gretchen and aunt resa will be here one week from today! mom for the whole summer, and resa for a couple of days. we are very excited!
marley is talking and giggling from bed, so i am going for some cuddle time...

well, marley is doing really well. her grandma has come back from texas, almost to stay. she has successfully found her thumb. well, her finger knuckles. and is getting better at a bottle. she now likes to face out at the world when you hold her and wants to stand all the time. marley and i have started working for grandma barb in her shop and marley loves it there. we are busy bees, off to yellow springs to go shopping today...
