Life update

Y'all.  It has been a crazy couple of weeks.  We found out two weeks ago that Fixit has cancer.  It was a roller coaster for a week trying to figure out what  was going on, what the right choice for Fixit was.  With more information, came more questions.  And trying to explain all of this to the kids.  It was awful and gut wrenching.  It made it all the harder because Fixit never seemed sick.  And he's so young.  Finally, we made the decision to take his leg.  Well, more accurately his shoulder.  The doctor was able to get all of the cancer and we are almost a week post op.  Fixit is healing like a champ.  He's also high as a kite.  But I'm only giving him what the doctor ordered.  We all celebrated last night because he finally pooped.  I never would have guessed how big a role poop plays in my life as a momma.  The girl are in the next play at Unity, both are in the angel choir.  It should be very cute.

So my computer has been out of whack.  Sorry I haven't posted in awhile.  I have found a solution and we are back!

 Crazy hat day at school.  We do crazy anything well.

 BISD had a block party the same day as the first play practice.  It was super fun.

 If you've never heard of this, its where the museum comes to life after dark and we got to go through and listen to real people dressed up as the exhibit and tell history.

 Norman was so excited to talk to the dead people.
