Sewing Lessons

Granny started her sewing school officially today.  Marls, Doodle, and their two friends Chloe and Phoebe are her first students.  It was a fun day, the kids loved it.  And I'm pretty sure Granny enjoyed herself too.

 Norman had his own little station all set up in the corner.

Today we focused on the beginning of the basics.  Threading a needle, tying a not, basic stitches.  Here are the pincushions they made by the end of the lesson.

Father's Day

We stayed home and played today.  Ben bbqed, the kids enjoyed dirt.  It was nice to not have to be anywhere.  I also attempted to get a good shot of Ben with the kids, but pretty sure I wasn't successful.

Mud Run

Marls and I went on a kids mud run last weekend.  Here are the photos that the event people took of us.  Marls and I did the rope swing at the same time.  It was a blast.  Next time it'll be a girls event.
