Update

Brief update abt preschool:  marls loved it!  Woo hoo!  Tomorrow should be much easier. Everyone is exhausted and in bed for the night. Developing a school routine this week. So far so good.

well.  we did it.  it was a mess, but we did it.  marls was excited and up super early and ready to go.  as long as dad and i didn't go anywhere.  and then she started sobbing.  which, of course, did not help me not cry.  but the teachers were great and got her calmed down.  doodle was a total mess.  she hates to not be with her sister.  so we came home and had a bowl of ice cream.  marls will love school.

School

Our clothes are laid out (a new dress and new shoes and even new super hero undies). Our teacher presents are ready. Our girl is excited, so I guess momma has to be ready. This is hard. I've been so lucky to keep my babies home with me and I'm not ready to give it up yet. But she is going to love school so I guess I better buck up and stop all this blubbering. We made these today for marls's teacher and assistant. Ben's idea. Aren't they cute?  Pencil vases. 

here comes preschool!

ready or not here we come!  we went to meet the teacher night tonight.  marls likes her teacher a lot, but she's worried i'll be lonely without her.  too true, too true.  not sure what i'll do without my marls, but it's only for three hours a day.  anywho, she is mostly excited and we are trying to stay up beat and excited for her.  i am not allowed to cry, said the hormonal pregnant lady.

Portland~ Day 3

We stayed in town this day and checked out the rose gardens and the japanese gardens.  and then went swimming in the afternoon.  the swimming photos are from my cell phone, so they'll be a separate post.
