Kindergarten

I have a kindergartner.  I can not believe it.  She loves it.  On the first day I asked her how she liked her teacher and she said: She's kinda bossy.  But on the next day she went (we have already been stuck home sick!) I asked her how she liked her teacher and she said:  I love her!  So, we love school.  Yay!  I hope she keeps this enthusiasm for school.
So I had this great idea to start using my film camera again for family photos, mostly.  Trying to turn off the photographer switch.  But now I have seven rolls of undeveloped film and it's almost impossible to find anywhere to develop them.  In town we have the walmarts or CVS.  Walmarts butchers photos.  The color is just awful, and CVS keeps your negatives.  Sooooooo....I have seven rolls of undeveloped film.
But I did use digital for the first day of school.  Here ya go!

super why!

so we found out last weekend that super why was going to be at the houston children's museum today.  well, of course we had to go.  doodle has been so excited all week long.  like beyond excited.  and then we got there.  i think she was not prepared for him to be so big or have such a big head.  anywho.  ask her about it after the fact and she gets really excited again.

dog days of summer

in an attempt to teach our kiddos to give back to the world around them, we plan a big thing to do on my birthday.  one year we did random acts of kindness for every year i've been alive.  this year we set up a photo shoot for dogs, with all of the money raised going to the new animal shelter washington county is trying to build.  anywho.  i've been going through the photos and i came across these.  silly gooses.
