Doodle

I've been working on Doodle's birthday pictures.  They are a little work intensive.  Here are a few.

Week 6 and valentine shenanigans

 Week 6.  I didn't take week 7 pictures because it was marls's birthday we got busy.

 We needed a dirt day.

 I made the kids shirts for Valentine's day.  This is me trying to get a good picture of them.  And I actually love it.

 My kids and their friends made Valentine's and delivered them to two of our local nursing homes on Valentine's Day afternoon.

There was another girl with us, but she had to be at a class so we didn't get a big group picture.

Marls

Marls is eight today.  The night before her birthday I always tell her the story of her birth, which is quickly followed by Davis's story and Norman's story.  We spent the day exploring.  We found a new zoo, which was fabulous.  We learned about animals and conservation.  We made friends with a llama with a serious underbite.  We got our fingernails painted.  We had dinner with granny.  There are so many wonderful things about this girl.  She makes my momma heart proud.  Bottom line:  this girl is pure magic.  And I am totally biased and smitten.  Here are a couple from her birthday photos.

Week 5

These are from the same weekend as the charity event.  Marls had been playing with makeup earlier.  Doodle too, but you can't really notice hers.
