pumpkins and glitter

 We got pumpkins and somehow I thought glitter would be a good idea.  My house still sparkles.  But the pumpkins are pretty and the kids had a great time.

 Norman was amazed by the sheer amount of glitter.

For homecoming week, one day they had to dress up like their favorite Disney characters.  They went as Sarah and Winifred Sanderson from Hocus Pocus.

Random fall stuff

 We spent fair day at Huntsville State Park.  It was nice to get outside.

 We kept hunting for alligators, which it is rumored live at this park, but we didn't see any.

 Doodle got her first pocket knife.  Marls got hers when she was seven.  They are just for when we are camping and hiking.

 The vet says Fixit needs to lose five pounds, so we brought him along to hike with us.  He did not appreciate it.  Nor does he appreciate being on a diet, but it's for his own good.

 When you ask marls to smile.

 You get one eventually.

 The kids were so excited about this mushroom.

 We all built doodle's bed.

 She's super excited to have a harry potter bed.
