christmas II

more pictures! also santa was kind enough to give me an address book for christmas, so i would really appreciate all e-mailing me thier addresses. my little slips of paper full of addresses system has failed. i know not where any are. if you leave me a comment, it sends an e-mail to my account and i will be the only one who can see it. it will not get published on the blog, have no fear. the pictures are stacking up, so i am hopeing to publish a few more. we keep having adventures, but i don't want to get ahead of myself...enjoy!

marley mae's first christmas

marley mae loved her first christmas. ben got lots of video, and i manned the camera. i'll probably have to make several posts to get them all in, the videos longer b/c we are working off my mom's computer but i'll do what i can. marley got tooth number eight for christmas. and lots of toys and cute clothes. she had a blast opening presents and wearing bows. she has a party hangover today and is sleeping most of the day. we had my mom's side of the family at her house, even kirby came down. it was wonderful to all be together again. kirby and i hadn't been able to share a christmas in ten years! ben and i are totally loving the wonderful warm texas weather. ben's been eating lots of bbq, while i have been trying to get my fill of guacamole. it was hard being away from the lonsert clan, but we made sure to carry their christmas traditions with us down here. the boys (kirby, eric, and ben) are off fishing and the girls are here relaxing. a wonderful meal of leftovers is on the menu for tonight. here is the star during christmas:

10 months old today

marley mae is 10 months old today! she is loving living at granny's house...we made it here on monday after a very long three day car trip. very long. bless ben for being able to drive while towing the honda. he drove 1224 miles. i drove 10. but we had good weather, which if we had waited a week we wouldn't have been so lucky. it's beautiful, sunny, and 60 here. god bless texas. ben has already had one interview, which went really well, and has another one monday morning. so keep those fingers crossed for us. louie has discovered squirrels in granny's backyard and is practicing constant vigilance. he ripped his dew claw and has already had a trip to the vet, but after hamming it up, seems to be back to his old self. i have a trip to the dentist planned for tuesday. woo hoo, yet another cavity. hopefully not a root canal. kirby flies in on wednesday, so it's going to be a busy week. here are a few photos of ms mae in granny's kitchen. she's helping us bake cookies.

videos galore

well, here are some long awaited videos of marley. ben figured out the user error and i am going to attempt to post them all at once, though blogspot may not let me...they are all short little videos. we went to dayton on monday and spent the night with the greats. marley does love them and they her. today is wednesday, the packers are here tommorrow and the movers on friday. i can start freaking out any time now. it's a good thing ben is so level headed. keeps me sane and from worrying too much. but we are on track, even a little ahead of the game so far. and the winter storm is, thankfully, dumping the snow north of us. just rain and wind here. keep your fingers crossed for us over the next several days. we should arrive in texas on monday, just in time for ben's interview on tuesday...ok, it takes forever to load video, so just the two this time.

everywhere i go

so, ben and i are moving in ELEVEN days. to texas. i'm starting to freak out. must be my mom coming out in me =) we are all three super excited. i think it will be a great opportunity for us. ben has an opportunity to get his dream job, a luthier, so keep your fingers crossed... marley pulls up like it's nothing now. she's standing in her crib every morning looking at the door, waiting for me. here are some photos from her nine month birthday and her new toy...i have a video too, but i'm having user issues currently. hopefully i'll have it up soon...also here is the video to the song marley and i love to dance and sing too...we make our own versus too...marley is the cutiest, louie is the tootiest, omar is the poopiest everywhere i go...there should be a link you can click on and it will take you to the song on youtube...ok, to see the video click on the title of this blog and it will take you there...
