gg's davis quilt

GG made Davis a quilt.  It is beautiful and perfect, of course.  As you can see Davis loves it!  And her big sister.

marley got to meet her baby cousin this weekend (as did the rest of us) and was very excited about that.  davis not so much.  not that she didn't like her, more she didn't know what to make of her.  it was a nice little mini family reunion and afterwards i did some portraits of the baby and her mom and dad.

i think davis's opinion is quite clear.

The Marley Dee

At the last Unity Theatre Gala my mom won the rights to name a new breed of rose at The Antique Rose Emporium.  Today we got to go pick out the rose and officially name it.  It will be available to buy this spring!  Introducing the Marley Dee!  She is a hot pink rose with a pompom bloom.  Beautiful and perfect to name after the girls.  I mean, how cool is this?!

Hansel and Gretel take the competition

So as mentioned yesterday we went to the fall fun day at our church's day school.  It was great fun.  There was a petting zoo, games, a train to ride, fake tattoos to get, and a costume contest.  Marley and Davis won that, of course.  So I have decided that asking Marley to pose for a picture is asking her to give me poop face.  I think we might have to do candids for awhile, which is ok.  I usually like those better anyway.
