this past weekend marley and i went to visit meshell in santa fe, texas. it was lots of fun and marley was totally tuckered out. we went to a cool bayou wildlife park and got to fee lots of crazy animals. marley was totally enthralled. and of course, meshell's dog mojo was a big hit. he's a weinie dog of sorts and the perfect size for marley. plus he has patience to spare. all in all, a very fun getaway. we were going to go to the beach but when i got there we realized it was mardi gras weekend and galveston was the last place we wanted to go. ben and i went to see the doctor yesterday and all is well with simba. he/she is measuring a big big (surprise surprise...marley did too but ended up being very normallly sized). and discussed birthing options. marley's birth was so traumatic ben and i have both already started having anxiety about simba's arrival. we will have an ultrasound when i am 37 weeks to see if a vbac (vaginl birth after cesearean) is possible. and then discuss and make a plan at my 38 week appointment. i would love a vbac, but i do NOT want to go thru the trauma i went thru before. it was hard on me, on marley, and on ben and my mom who had to watch. three more months until chaos reigns supreme at my house. i also talked to the doctor about my contractions, but it's just braxton hicks, so no worries. also we got the final green light to travel to visit kirby. we leave in about two weeks and i am super excited! this morning ms marls and i are off to story hour.
