pick your own fun

we went berry picking today.  it was super fun.  and really not very hot, all things considering.  mainly we live in texas.  but there was a nice breeze.  a summer breeze, if you will.  marls loved running from plant to plant saying look how big THIS one is!  to every single berry, be it big or little.  i think we will go again.  ben wants to pick peaches, so we'll see.  right now we have five pounds of blackberries to eat.

very excited.  funnily enough, i don't think she had ever even had blackberries before today.  she loves them now though.

i have no idea what happened with the lighting here...but that would be almost all five pounds. 

 davis has learned to hug.  and she loves to do it.  if you are on the floor, watch out.  girl is coming to get you with a big old hug.  and some drooly kisses too.  i love it. 

 every time marley leaves to go somewhere and davis is not going, davis cries the cry of the broken hearted.  this usually only happens on wednesdays when marley goes to story hour.  she absolutely adores her big sister.
