spectacles galore!

so i've been having these killer headaches for the past month or more.  we've been waiting for ben's new insurance to kick in before i got new glasses and we finally have insurance again!  his insurance seriously kicks ass compared to what we have had for the past year.  anywho.  davis has the crud in her chest, so we had to take her to the doc, so we decided to hit up eyemasters for their sale while we were there.  to be clear, d is acting fine, happy as ever, just has a nasty cough.  doc said it was fine, although she does have fluid in her ear and sent us on our way with a prescription should things worsen, which hopefully they won't.  so fun with glasses.  turns out my old prescription was too strong, causing me to squint, causing severe headaches.  so hopefully those will be a thing of the past.  woo hoo!  party time!

modeling one of momma's new glasses

 so marls needed a pair of spectacles so she could be cool just like her momma.  luckily for her, they are not real.  but doesn't she look adorable?  i think we should call her the professor.  and davis needed a sparkly hair bow to tame that wild mass of hair on top her head.  it was out of control.

my new spectacles.  i love that word.  spectacles.  and yes, that is as wide as my eyes will open tonight.  this is one tired momma.  the kids keep telling me no sleep till brooklyn.   they're my secretary glasses.  i like 'em.  and i can see.  time to catch a nap before the girls start taking turns waking up.
