Ch Ch Ch Changes

Tomorrow I will be 35.  No big deal.  But it seems like a good point to start some discipline.  Or additional discipline.  I promise to blog at least once a week, preferably twice.  Lord knows I have a big enough backlog of photos to share.
Life is good.  Ben got laid off, did some grunt work, we, as a family, learned some things, and then he got hired back on by Valmont.  Hallelujahs.  And he doesn't loose his seniority and we won't miss a beat of insurance coverage.  booyah.  So, it's been a stressful summer, but things are back on track.
As I mentioned, I do have a backlog of photos to share, but I'm going to start with the most recent.  We had a family pool party at Resa and Steve's this week.  And a surprise birthday celebration for me.  It was so nice and relaxing.  Marls has turned into a fish in the water, and the more time Doodle spends in it, the less scared she is.  Anywho.  School starts in less than a month, so we are trying to squeeze every drop of fun out of summer we can.  I am so not ready for Marls to be gone ALL DAY LONG or for Doodle to start school at all.  But that is a weepy post for another day.

so i was at a photoshoot the other day, when we stumbled upon this guy.  from what we can gather from the picture, he is a rattlesnake.  yikes!

i love love love this picture.  i might just have to blow it up.  

and this one.  i mean, come on.  isn't she just the best?!

i think doodle was explaining the finer points of scooby do to erin.

she is like a fish.  she swam all over that pool.

he may not be big on the pool yet, but he is big on the cute.

i can so clearly see them sitting here at different point in their lives, curled up together, talking about their secrets, sharing their joys and their sorrows.  sister.  so lucky to be their momma and watch their love.  i will also have to blow this one up.
