day three~portland

marley felt the need to put on her safety glasses while watching some older ladies get down tap dancing at the bluebonnet festival today...
we bought a new hat to protect that beautiful face from the sun...was not expecting the heat or the sun...my skin is bright red.
happy happy husband. he loves fair food.
cutie pie having fun
hot and tired, but happy we head home. so glad to have this awesome wagon for festival days.
in oregon. at the children's museum.
she LOVES the grocery store. and pretend grocery stores.
what i love about this is that kirby and marley have the same expression on their faces.
clay time

sunset and view from kirby's back porch...those are mountains in the distance.
splish splashing at kirby's community pool
fun and getting less afraid of the water
she slid off of this and went under (the water was less than a foot deep and she was highly supervised) and it didn't seem to bother her at all.
swimming with granny
pretty tree starting to bloom right outside kirby's house.
and this would be kirby's house.

i couldn't tell you what i've been doing this past week, but i've sure been busy. i will try to finish putting up the rest of my vacation pictures today and tomorrow. i still have a roll of film on the camera, so not sure when i'll get those ones. today me and the fam headed to the bluebonnet festival in chappell hill. it was fun but crazy crowded and crazy hot. i took a couple pics and i'll tack those on the end of today. i would say i am 98% sure simba has dropped. marley never did, but simab has already. a little early. but nothing to worry about. i'll call the doc on monday and see what she says. it is a sign of the beginning stages of labor. but it could take up to four weeks for simba to even get completely in position. so, to help ease my mom's worry, ben and i finished getting simba's room ready today. we still need some things, but do have most of the basics. if you're interested we still need: diapers (i think we have seven but will need lots more), a purple diaper pad changing cover, a bumper pad (which i distinctly remember my mom saying she would make;) ), and a bed skirt. never thought purple or giraffes would be hard to find, but they are. oh well, we'll get it all together eventually.
