words and so forth

ok i finally find myself with two hands free.  not something that will happen often.  we had an amazing experience at st joe's in college station.  it's a great hospital.  if you need one, i would recommend it.  i do not deal well with anticipation.  i blow things out of proportion until they become big ordeals.  that is what was happening with the surgery aspect of davis's birth.  but the reality was great.  or as great as surgery can be.  everyone was very calm and my doctor was even talking to us during the entire thing.  she offered a play by play, but i didn't really find that neccesary.  and in the end we had beautiful perfect davis.
marley is handling being a big sister remarkably well.  i think it helps that granny is here to ease the transition.  so far, davis is a very different baby, though still a very chill one.  at the very least we are not having any nursing problems.  marley was a lazy eater.  davis is the opposite.  i am going to try very hard to stop comparing them.  they are different people.
davis mundell is named after three very important people.  her first name is from ben.  his middle name is david, so we just tweeked it to fit.  her middle name is both my brother and my dad's middle name.  we wanted to use family names, but we also wanted them to be from people that were significant to us.
on a sappy note, my heart is bursting with love and happiness.  who knew one person could be so lucky?!  i certainly am and am very thankful.  i love being a momma.  hopefully i will get my sea legs soon...
ben says:  i am the luckiest man because of the three beautiful women in my life...
