12 month photo fun

we (me, marley, davis, and granny) went out to the antique rose emporium last week to take pictures of davis in her twelve month onesie.  we had a lot of fun.  the flowers were gorgeous and there were butterflies everywhere!  and big fat lizards.  we chased them.

so thanks to this excursion davis is afraid of flowers.  we set her too close and she got scared.  this was as close as she wanted to come to flowers.  she kept a leary eye out for the dangerous things.

one landed on my finger and i tried to pass it to marley, but it flew away.  didn't have anything to do with her squeals.

i told marley to back up and sit by granny for a picture.  this is what i got.

she CAN stand.  she just doesn't WANT to.

so we have had a whirlwind here the past couple of days.  dress rehearsal, recital, birthday party, birthday, guests.  i have ten tons of photos.  all in good time.
