I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Life is good here.  Ben's schedule has gotten even more crazy, as he no longer gets a day off.  Or hasn't for two weeks, but fingers crossed, that will change soon.  Anywho.  Here are a couple pictures from our weekend.

 had a very wonderful mother's day.  spent the morning with my momma, who is truly amazing, and the afternoon with my kiddos.  they are all so different, but i love them so much.  becoming a mother is one of the best things that has ever happened to me.

maifest

the girls danced at maifest last weekend.  and marls had track and field day at school.  this end of the year school stuff is getting hectic.  she had her year end bible verse program friday at school.  i'm not gonna lie, i tear up a bit when i think that she is in kindergarten next year.  ack.  my baby girl.  i still remember so vividly ben telling me she was a girl and me saying no it's a boy.  anywho, i could get all emotional, but i'll save that for another day.  maifest and track and field day.

blue bell has this flavor called crazy colors, which will dye you crazy colors.  for a couple days.  but apparently it is pretty good.

there were lots of relay races for track and field, but the kids had a great time.

Big girl date

I got to take my marls on a big girl date this past weekend. We went to a friend's birthday party. Super fun times. 

Also, I so wish I had caught this moment with my camera and not my phone. They love each other sooo much. 

norman's five months old

Norman is five months old today!  A little bit about him now:
~ he loves his big sister marley the best out of anybody, me included.  He just grins from ear to ear when he sees her.
~ he drools and drools and drools
~ still just two teeth
~ he can roll both ways
~ he loves to get and give kisses
~ he stares intently at food when we eat.  I think we might start food soon.  He is definitely interested.
~ he laughs out loud now.
~ he has discovered his inner dinosaur.  it's a loud one.
~ he likes to grab things and put them in his mouth.
~ he is up to the third setting on the jumparoo.  there are only four.  he loves to jump, so I hope he slows down on his growth spurt or he'll be too big for it.
~ i think he's about 20 pounds.  We go in for a well baby check next month.
~ he sleeps really well at night.  most nights.  usually just waking me once to eat.
~ he loves to be outside.
ben and i decided he needs to get a job since he's such a big man now.

I love all his sweet baby chubbiness.  I don't want to forget any of his rolls.  Some close ups:
