so there is this blog i follow.  she's a really good writer and an excellent photographer.  also a mom to two girls.  anyway she has an excellent view of life and motherhood and sometimes when i'm having a hard day reading what she writes helps to pick me back up again.  she is a professional blogger.  i think that is weird.  i think of a blog as basically a journal that you share with people.  and she is a pro at it.  anyway.  it's a weird world we live in.  or as dr. suess would say:  from there to here, from here to there, funny things are everywhere.
we had a busy week here.  as marley gets older and is involved in more, the busier our weeks will get.  but in a good way.  ben worked four twleves this week and an eight, so it's been a long week for him as well.  marley keeps telling me she misses daddy.  it's heartbraking.  but he's off all weekend, so they should be able to get some good daddy play time in. 

she is already bouncing around in this.  didn't take her long to get the hang of it.

we had to do the petting zoo twice.

last year she was timid.  this year there was no fear at all.

so davis is too big to lay across m's lap but big enough to hold her head up, so she sits up in m's lap now.  marley was very excited about this development.

not so sure if davis was as excited as marley.
