eleven weeks

well, miss davis is eleven weeks old today!  crazy how time flies and how much she has changed.  she's filled out just a little bit :), and she is showing her personality more and more.  she especially loves to talk to her granny.  i've had to restrict her eating a tad.  she loves to nurse.  so much so that she was making herself sick.  she would nurse too much and then give it right back to me.  yuck.  no, it's not reflux.   she just is a comfort nurser.  so i make her wait at least two hours before she eats again and that has done the trick.  she takes  her binky in the in between times, although so far she will only take it from me.  which is weird, b/c i would think she would not take it from me, since she can get the real thing from me.  oh well.  all is good.  still no dairy.  and she doesn't really like too much garlic either.  so if it's bland and boring i can eat it.  but it's really not that hard to do.  i don't actually mind at all. 
marley starts dance class on thursday.  we are all very excited.  well at least marley and i are.  we got her dance shoes today, finally.  she was very excited.  especially loved the tap shoes.  she calls herself the dancing queen now.  i had been calling her that and she sure enough picked it up. 
i got my round robin quilt back from the quilters and it magically binded itself.  actually my mom is awesome and surprised me with a completely finished quilt.  it looks great.  it is offically davis's first quilt of her own.  she likes it.  well, she drooled on it.  i'm taking that for approval.
