do you know how hard it is to put gloves on a toddler?  almost impossible.
aunt seesa (resa) came over with a project on monday.  flowerbeds!  the front of our house was looking rather depressing and me and the girls love to sit on the front steps after our walks.  it looks so nice here.  and marley helped with it all.  a wonderful surprise
being a quilter with a hord of fabric comes in handy...fat quarters as du rags

davis was the project supervisor

home made granola!
we got a cold front on tuesday and decided to start off the baking season with some granola.  it was soo good that ben has already eaten it all and requested more.
hey, what's up

stuffing stella
so resa came over with another part to the beautify ashley's front yard project - a scarecrow!  marley had so much fun making stella.  she couldn't decide if she wanted her to be happy or sad, but after much deliberation we decided on happy.  she isn't totally done yet, so there are no finished pictures.  but she is super cute.  she has button eyes and nose, a ric rac mouth, yarn hair, overalls and a spider turtleneck.
hmmmm happy face i guess

feet?  why didn't you tell me i had feet?!
davis has found her feet.  and she loves them.  she talks to them, she holds them, she even chews on them a bit.  and she is soooo close to rolling over.  i fully expected it to happen today, but not quite.
