raindrops

rain!!!!  click on the title to get some theme music going on.
someone was painting the roses red
marley and i take daily walks around our neighborhood to enjoy being outdoors and have some good talks.  we crossed the street to check out these flowers.  real rose bush, fake flowers.  i don't get it.
enforced quiet time so davis gets a nap.  she looks like i'm torturing her

car dancing
so i am a firm believer in car dancing.  it keeps the kiddos entertained and is fun.  it's also very hard to stay in a bad mood when dancing about, regaurdless of your local.  i get a LOT of weird looks, comments, and even rude gestures from people in this town.  whatever.  haters can't keep me down.
mmmm ice cream.
still trying to get tooth number three in.  she is chewing so hard non stop.  i can feel it.  it's still close.
reporting for work
so, ben got hired on full time at his job.  he's been a temp this whole time, which was very nerve racking.  but no more.  he got a bit of a raise and some job security.  woo hoo!
what is your spiders name?  itsy spide.  of course, what else?
marley loves all things spider.  so we decorated with them.  it is the season for it, afterall.  i hope this is just a phase.  there will be no pet spiders in this house.  or rodents.

i can't get enough of this face.

cheesing for the camera

is it spring?
there are so many beautiful flowers in bloom that we see (and smell) on our walks.  feels like spring, not fall.
spider flower.  not sure what it's really called, although i know i've been told.
i've been hit with the crafty bug this week.  it is all about reusing stuff we already have.  partly b/c we're broke, but also b/c we have way too much stuff that we're not using.  i am going room by room and cleaning and purging.  it is a slow process, as marley and davis do not think of this as a fun game.  but a little bit everyday and it'll all get done.  eventually.  we have tons of t-shirts.  sooo many that we can't wear them all.  i am currently finding ways to reuse them.  i've made some hair bows that are super cute.  i think i'll also try a rag rug out of them.
my first tshirt hair bow
i'm not really a bow wearing kinda gal, but i might have to become one.  they're so darn cute.  no worries, we are donating all really useful things to charity.  but stuff like tshirts and stuff that would be thrown out, i am getting crafty with.  i'll try to share more as i get more done.  but as it usually takes me five days to finish one task, don't hold your breath.
