i feel like i can breathe again now that it's not so hot.  cabin fever is slowly being replaced with outdoor time.  ahhh.  happy girls equals happy momma.  parenting is so different with the second child.  with marley i looked forward to each and every new thing she did.  hurrying her along.  with davis i want to relish and savor it all, knowing that she will hurry it along all too fast for me.  marley is hilarious.  i really need to write down the things she says.  we were reading this book today, called somebody mooed, or something like that.  the rooster is doing his thing and he is interrupted by a moo, so the rooster goes up to each animal on the farm and asks them if they moo.  well when we got to the donkey i asked marley what the donkey says and she said honky honky!  the expressions on her face and how she uses her hands when she talks, it's just priceless.  which brings me to another point that i am learning.  sometimes the hardest thing about disciplining a toddler is keeping a straight face.  i have a pretty awful poker face and marley knows it.  davis has started to belly laugh.  i got a really bad video of it that i will try to post soon.  you can hear the laugh, but i am shaking the camera all over the place.  davis is discovering her voice.  today it is the high pitched dinosaur.  she is pretty hilarious too.  so it's just a belly full of laughs over here these days.
