we had our well baby visit today. and boy was it a doozy. davis also got her six tooth in this morning. she weighs in at 20.7 pounds, which is offically off the chart. the doctor laughed and said i must make cream, not milk. he's not worried yet, but will be if after she becomes mobile she is still such a chunk. so she has until 9 months to kind of even out. so no worries. marls was a big baby too, but i started her on food earlier. food has less calories, so i think if i had started davis earlier she would have slowed down by now. but breastmilk is best for her, so i stand by our decision. we are going to continue to slowly add in foods. so far peaches and peas are a go from davis. she's not so sure about bananas, but who can blame her? and she is starting to get the hang of a bottle with apple juice in it. anyways, she is healthy and happy. and she got her shots. marls had her ears checked while we were there, and all looks good.
we spent the weekend in atx checking out resa's new place. it was super fun. i think we started going on friday morning and haven't really stopped until just now. big sigh. super fun, but this is one tired momma. got most of my christmas shopping done, now i just have to make all the presents. we are doing a farts and craps christmas. most of our gifts will be homemade. i'm trying out a couple of new things and using a few old tricks as well.
